
Our Team.
Chef Luis Castro is a devoted parent of an individual on the autism spectrum. Alongside his longtime friend and business partner, Chef Billie Sutton, they have formed a team of passionate culinary professionals dedicated to empowering individuals—especially those within the neurodivergent community—through the art of cooking.
With over 30 years of combined experience in culinary education and professional kitchens, their backgrounds include the Los Angeles Unified School District Chef in the Classroom Program, Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Instruction, Nutrition Education, Food Styling for Film Union productions, and Recipe Research & Development.
Imagine Cookin is built on the foundation of patience, skill, and purpose—creating hands-on culinary experiences that foster independence, confidence, creativity, and life skills for students and families in the community.

Imagine Cookin understands the importance of teaching life skills that enable individuals who are Neurodivergent to live safely and with dignity in our community. Our approach is rooted in fostering independence, self-confidence and creativity through hands-on culinary education thats accessible, adaptable and motivational.
